How Much Does ADHD Coaching Cost?

The short answer

At ResilienceADHD, ADHD coaching costs $125 to $199 per 50-minute session, depending on the coach. Most clients meet weekly, so a month of four sessions is $500 to $796. Coaching usually isn’t covered by insurance, but many people pay with HSA or FSA funds. The first consultation is free.

What affects the price of ADHD coaching

  • Training and credentials. Certified, experienced coaches usually charge more than coaches in training.
  • Specialty. Coaching for executives or other niches often costs more.
  • Session length and frequency. Weekly 50-minute sessions are typical; longer or more frequent sessions cost more.
  • Format. Group programs and apps cost less per hour but give less one-on-one attention.

Does insurance cover ADHD coaching?

Usually not. Insurance pays to treat medical conditions, and coaching is skill-building, not treatment. Many clients pay with Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) funds. Ask your plan administrator before you start; we give itemized receipts.

Ways to make it more affordable

  • Start with body doubling at $30 an hour if your main problem is getting started. Your first hour is free.
  • Work with a coach at a lower rate. Every coach on our team specializes in ADHD.
  • Use HSA or FSA funds.

Is it worth it?

Coaching is worth it when it changes how your week actually goes. You’ll get the most from it if you pick one specific problem to work on and practice between sessions. A free consultation is the easiest way to find out if it’s a fit before you spend anything.
